A global girls’ education and empowerment center that aims to combine education, research, innovation, humanitarian actions, and socio-community services to positively impact vulnerable girls and their communities by advocating for inclusive education, promoting tools to support personal development, excellence, and practice.
Purpose
There are thousands of African girls who are excluded from the formal education system and therefore from one of their fundamental rights to go to school. For thousands of girls, access to a simple schooling is still a luxury that families cannot afford, even though many of them are full of talent and intelligence. In addition to exclusion and abandonment, many are victims of slavery by their own communities, ostracism, and exploitation due to the lack of knowledge of their rights.
A forward-looking society will be built with women who are educated and aware of their potential and their rights, because they make up the majority of the human population. Supporting talented girls and other vulnerable groups who are excluded from the educational system due to lack of resources or abilities, to develop and fulfill their potential in the future society, is a fundamental goal of Foundation Doguicimi.
Specific objectives
Doguicimi Foundation will promote an inclusive education for talented young girls to prepare them to realize their full potential and to anticipate and meet the challenges of the future society.

Origins
From its African origins, Doguicimi means “Distinguish me”.
Doguicimi is a vision and a tribute to all young girls who are determined to distinguish themselves through education and empowerment, and ready to challenge conventions to become tomorrow’s leaders, and to realize the vision and Doguicimi Foundation’s legacy.
